I genuinely have a soft spot for the game and everything they keep adding but the lackluster gameplay loop just holds the game back. I get bored and feel like I've seen everything as soon as I hit 20/30hrs when that's when the game sould get interesting. At this point I just wish they let go of it and moved to NMS 2 revamping the whole experience, I wouldn't even get mad if they used a FTP model to sustain updates over the years.

I joined a few art Discords a few months back but honestly I'm beginning to question the point of it.
I was paranoid of /ic/ / 4chan closing down and wanted to still have a community of artists but... It's not the same.

There's basically no critique. The only feedback you get is in the form of emojis on your post like :heart: or other dumb stuff.
I just don't feel like I'm being pushed to be better posting there. It's frustrating.
