Powercreep is rampant, from HP bloat to hyper restrictive bosses that require specific characters, rolling for who you like is a thing of the past.
With the addition of the UGC gamemode and new hoyogacha and lack of events (which were replaced with an endgame mode), Genshin will not longer be receiving any sort of fun minigames like it used to, maybe one patch per region will be dedicated to putting out a minigame.
The story has not progressed at all in 5 years the game has been out, everything is vague, we only learn about nameless NPCs, and the main characters do not do anything that changes anything. Natlan cemented the fact that regions are episodic in nature.
Exploration has been dumb downed to corridors. World "Quests" hold your hand through a region, unlocking over half of it, with chests and puzzles being located along the quest path or simply part of the quest. Natlan characters completely broke exploration, so even the actual casual part of the game was not saved from powercreep.
