i just had a good day for the first time in a while and im starting to realize how sad my life is. i used to have goals and hopes and a family and allat but now all of them are dead or distant and its not like i really cared about them anyway but like a ton of years ago we'd all do stuff all the time and now i haven't seen them in years. a few months ago me and my friends were getting together every week and i had a girlfriend and lost my virginity and allat shit but now we've broken up and all my friends have found better shit to do. my job's fine i guess but i cant relate to anyone there and i dont know anyone who i really CAN relate to. im going to go play project zomboid and hope i forget about all this

Meeting people is rough since there's not really a place to 'meet people' except online. It's especially bad with the heat going on. Conventions might work, but then that requires some specific stuff and you kind of need to know people before hand anyways, since most people are there with their friends in the first place.
The good thing is I have those friends to talk about it with, but I wish I had more. I guess I just want more friends in general.
I keep trying to hype myself up into joining some discords related to my state since how the fuck else are you gonna meet people with similar interests, but I keep putting it off.
