Yeah keeping ralsei dead is dumb. Once you're better at the fight it's far more practical to keep alive and attacking as often as possible since he deals better damage than kris. Kris can either attack too or stay on TP duty. Attack enough and you can skip the sword circle, heat seeking arrows, and diagonal box slash completely.
