I'm astounded that they let xis xerson write nothing but a self insert about dealing with gender identiy issues as a whole plot point. Especially as xey wrote the story of Tresspasser which was legitimately good. Xe also wrote Mordin, Miranda and Jack for Mass Effect. Just mental how badly they fucked up.

The last thing this franchise needs, is for Liara to come play Gandalf the Blue. She may be the devs' favourite, but she's not that great, especially if it has to always come at the expense of everyone else. That's not a trade off.
