>bought an MTG product after quitting almost decade ago
>picked a bloomburrow fat pack cause I thought the animals and thems were cute
>fewer lands, no booklet, no paper deck boxes, no poster
>EVERY fucking pack comes with a foil
>the lands are full art and some of them are foil too for some reason
>notable pulls were a Fountainport which is 15 USD on tcgplayer for some reason, a season of gathering, a foil Azure beastbinder and Hugs
I probably just should've bought singles but at least the box and d20 are cute and pack opening was fun. I'm trying to make an Otter/instant and sorcery themed EDH deck with either Melek or Alania as the commander so I'm shopping for singles now and got a couple at the LGS.
It begs the question, what's the appeal of fat packs nowadays?
