She love-bombed me for a few months sending me (unsolicited) nudes and making all sorts of promises and when I wanted to move things forward she ghosted me. Many such cases, I know. I was in my early 30s, old enough to know better, and I feel equally ashamed of my own stupidity and gullibility, especially at that age, but my hatred and resentment of her hasn't dulled. It's a phantom pain that I'll carry with me, possibly forever.
