Yes, they are literally NPCs or paid shills. They have neither standards nor morals and their whole worldview is written by their masters. Do not engage with them (especially the "moderate" "sensible" ones). They need to suffer personally to have a chance of breaking the indoctrination. It doesn't matter how much money they pile into propaganda because they can only win if we let them.
