Thanks, I got 6 acolytes sprues with lots of parts but not enough bodies to attach them into. The kit is expensive for 5 models and some variation would be nice I suppose.

I'd advise against getting into them right now, there just isn't a decent discount box to make the army accessible for its a damn expensive army to play with. You will need lot of Neophytes and no box has them, so 40 euroish for a 10 men squad that's only 65pts is steep.

It's a slog yeah, and even the most basic troop has so many details to paint. A single neophyte is only 6.5pts and a 2000pts Host of Ascension list runs at least 80 of them. There aren't any "centrepiece" models as well like in the Guard, you paint the infantry but then you have access to Leman Russes and Dorns.
