I know it's minor, and GV doesn't have deep characterization or anything, but this stuff adds up overtime to give you a completely different feeling towards characters. The English script of GV2 feels way more "Marvel," especially when compared to GV1, GV3, and iX. Are localizations generally this bad?

I don't want them changing the setting one iota. Keep it a grim and dark preapocalyptic magitech dystopia with evil megacorps and crazed terrorists, but then throw a magical girl into the mix. And I mean a genuine magical girl, somebody who cheers and inspires others, not a subversion. A light which shines in the darkness shines all the brighter.

IIRC, she tied GV and Asroc for third place in the popularity polls, behind Gibril (#1 by a large margin) and Lola. GV2 had a superb cast in general.
