in theory, I would be good if GW put any effort into making the different Stormhosts feel different from each other. The models are basically blank slates, they would be great bases for conversions if GW had created lore that would inspire conversions.

In reality, I desperately want GW to stop focusing on Stormcast so much It's been ten years of hard work, hammering away to get Stormcast from impossibly boring to "meh". At this point I think it's actively hurting AoS to have such a dull army as the poster boys.

I've literally only seen two different stormhosts in my life

It's always problem with having poster boys. They're focused in most of the lore, most of the art and most of the models are painted in their color scheme.
