I agree that there's no good ethical argument that incest between adults should be illegal.
However, I still find it gross and want it to be illegal.
The whole "birth defects" shit just seems like a lame excuse when people who say it don't also support banning people who have or carry genes for serious heritable conditions from having sex.

From what I remember transgenderism was basically nothing but a punchline in popular culture until the 2010s when it became something you either had to support or hate. I remember thinking is episode was just weird shock value humor typical of south park when I saw it as a kid although maybe I was missing the subtext.
