Ok I appeared to have cleared up that error by merging the patch and mod but it still CTD on main menu and no error message about missing masters... What should I try next?

Hey guys I just bought Elden Ring on the Steam Summer Sale however when I attempt to launch it the screen goes black, then my monitor periodically loses connection and I can't do anything. The screen will periodically come back where I can see the main menu and I can even attempt to change the settings before it cuts out again. If I leave it like this for a while it sometimes eventually minimizes the game. Sometimes this persists even after I exit the game. I've tried a number of things to no avail, I believe it is a software glitch/issue. I have a 5070ti, haven't had any issues with any other games including more demanding ones such as Black Myth Wukong. Any idea what it could be and how to fix it?
