It feels janky when you don't understand it's not a classic RTS but a mix of a 3rd person shooter with every soldier simulated as an RTS. The soldiers won't fire to what they cannot phisically see, no magic bullets. Once you understand it's more about positioning them for their advantage and looking itno the hill elevations and crevices and such, you're going to get insanely invested into it. And then the joy of controlling one in 3rd person or a tank and fucking shit up with your soldiers around is just fun.

GoH is really the wet dream of someone out there but it doesn't get the advertisement it could. I really think it is a bit of features overload and people just short circuit their brains while trying to grasp so much gameplay and so many options. But just have fun with the game, it's worth it.
