Its not determinism, its just probability applied at scale. You can reject all you'd like. Culture isnt plug and play. Different ethnicities have different fundamental behavior preferences, different artistic preferences, different tolerances to sensory input. These differences stack. Humans are not blank slates that are trained in these preferences and tolerances. Our genetics drive culture, not the other way around.
