After you complete the tutorial, I recomend your first career being Bakushin. She's the most straightforward of the starting bunch, mostly running only one kind of race (Sprints)
Some hints:
Spend most of your starting carrots on cards. The game is built on such manner that you can win with any uma that you like, but you'll need better cards. You can drop one 10pull on umas if you want.
>Borrow the Kitasan Black speed card during your career, it's the best card in the game. Reload the sugested cards until you find it, and follow that person. Level 45+ is ideal.
On stats:
>Speed is the most important stat in the game. The higher it is, the higher your speed cap.
>Stamina varies on inportance depending on what uma you're playing. If it's mostly short races, you won't need a lot of it
>Power is you acceleration during the final spurt. How fast you get to that speed cap. The further back your uma's racing style is, the more she'll need it so she can actually catch up to whomever is in front.
>Guts is a dump stat. It will be near worthless until the rework one year from now, according to the JP version. It serves as an extra stamina after your stamina is gone, + skill duration
>Wit is how fast your uma runs during most of the race, + skill activation rating. Aim to have something like 300 at the end of the career.
