Some area of the uk are lawless already. Those talking about not helping police physically due to fear of being punished by the state for hurting a suspected crim are right. The state has gone into partial collapse through lawfare of rights groups against it's citizens trying to assist the state to maintain order that normal people would agree is an acceptable level.
The lawfare practitions are to blame and the state will not constrain them, for the state also practices lawfare and might "friendly fire" someone who helped THEM get where they are once it's steamroller turns in that direction.
