Long story short, this girl at my gym would not leave me alone. Every time I hit a set she was trying to talk to me more and more. I didn't realize she was into me until after the fact. She was basically auditioning for me. She was trying very hard to express herself to me and whatnot. We definitely have a lot in common and a lot to talk about. But I decided to hold back a bit, because I kinda took her extreme interest with skepticism and I also didn't wanna sound like a pussy when I asked her out (you know, typical fear of rejection stuff because I am still coming out of my shell).

anyway... I told myself that when I see her again I would definitely talk to her and ask her out. But after she had been consistently in the gym and near me for weeks she has not been to the gym same time as me for two weeks since that day.

I've stumbled upon her IG after venting to my buddy today how stupid I was for not realizing in the moment how into me she was.

SO, I want to follow her on IG and say "dude where have you been? i've been trying to ask you out"

I'm posting here because I am stopping myself and thinking "Am I about to ruin a good thing? Am I about to fuck everything up in one text?"

I think it's a bold move and I don't know if I'll ever see her again soon and I don't fucking want to wait any longer to hope she might appear!!

Maybe a happy middleground is to just follow her? Should I DM her too?

I think it could work in my favor but I also don't want to ruin my prospect. But my little heart tells me to say the above DM to her. What do you think?
