I think its something like:
>make many IPs that cater to kids and a general audience too (simple enough for kids, but fun enough for anyone)
>keep doing this over the years
>kids grow up, still playing the games because they are still fun
>aggressively take advantage of this by slowly releasing inferior or more expensive products with less quality
>slowly boil the fans
>they deny this is happening because Nintendo wouldn't do that to me, there is no proof, etc.
>they take their misaligned aggression out on people crapping on them, Nintendo, and the games
>this keeps going on and on as the aggression and loyalty becomes worse like battered wife syndrome
>they mask the charade by going deeper into their love of the franchises
And its totally fine for people to like Nintendo games of course, this isn't about them. This is for people in the OP pic who behave like Nintendo can do no wrong. He is exaggerating it, but there are people like that which exist. I hope they can snap out of it some day.

Not that anon, I don't have any proof myself. However, stores use them to adjust store layout in order to encourage people to buy more. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo and other companies use similar tactics.
