The Shining Force III trilogy. Truly a multi disc spanning epic. Took me 90 hours to beat all three.

I know, it's the Saturn's magnum opus. What was your favourite disc? What characters did you miss on? Do you agree that the middle of Disc 2 is the lowest point in the series? Did you find it stupid how in disc 3 everyone gets captured so easily yet the Rainbloods are a letdown compared to their invicible selfs of disc 2?

/vr/ - Mid year recap!
Anonymous No.11911670
My best discoveries this year has been the Saturn. Vandal Hearts, Baroque, but above all else Shining the Holy Ark and Shining Force III. Best games I've played in a long time.

I've also been seriously playing Game Gear games for the first time and there has been some good stuff, especially ShinobI 1 and 2.

>disappointments
I keep trying to get into Master System games only to get pushed back half the times

Sonic X-treme would've sucked. It was being made by a no talent western team.

I have always liked Saturn graphics. Even back during the 6th gen when the look was considered "outdated". I was simply ahead of the curve by decades, impressive I know.

I don't believe OP actually has a Saturn, otherwise he'd be talking about how epic its magnum opus is
