>maybe she wants a fren?
She might. She might also want something more than that she that's not something I want.
>how was the nap?
>Did u manage 2 get any work done?
So far I've done neither. I think I'll just have a sleep at this point. I've had enough excitement for one day.

>Can't say the same about the gameplay though, walking isn't exactly my cup of tea (unless it's a horror game)
Maybe I'm weird but that's the part I enjoyed most about it. I think I just found it really relaxing. Perhaps I was a courier in a past life...
I'm glad you're maybe enjoying it.
I like the landscape, especially once you get to the snowy bit.

Welcome back friend, I knew you wouldn't abandon us! I missed your cool animal facts.
>Did she give you a care package yet?
No but my first interaction with her was a WhatsApp message saying she bought me a present.

I wish I slept longer. Oh well.

>what r u gonna do when ur chinese stalker lady will want 2 visit?
I don't really have space for anyone to visit. I barely have room for myself.
Besides, inviting her into an enclosed space is a one way ticket to having my kidney removed.
>does it rain during one?
Yes, heavily.
>yes but u do hab 2 keep in mind that i am wetawded
Ideally you'll be competent enough to do one after 3/4 years of schooling.

I hope you had a good time with whatever pizza you got. Stuffed crust is nice.

After a week or so of taking it easy I'm headed into the office today to meet with my supervisor. Hopefully we can pin down exactly what it is I'll be writing over the next three years.
I also may have a stalker waiting for me there, but I'll tell that story later.

>Nice thighs club instead.
I can get behind this.
Unrelated but since Brian Wilson passed I've listened to this a couple dozen times. I must burden you with it.

>I wonder if grandma would mind though
Probably. It's far away so it must be dangerous.
Took a lot to convince my mother that it's a lot safer than it was in the 80s.
>is there something u would like 2 do or visit b4 dying?
I'd like to visit a few other countries like Switzerland and see some more of Japan. And get my doctorate.
What would you like to do before you clock out?

>literally the only kind of people who benefit from such studies are those who rely too much on scientific proof and have no common sense.
Unfortunately those guys are usually at the helm... A lot of people have gone all-in on AI thinking it's magic solution, even though they could watch a 30 minute YouTube video have the whole thing demystified.
>The newer gens are already struggling with education, attention span, etc. due to technology. AI will be the nail in the coffin for them
My friend used to teach undergrads and he said they've gotten dumber, and that was only 4 years after we graduated (and teaching somewhere with way higher entry requirements). In my last job a few of the professors said students were handing in complete nonsense written with ChatGPT.
Not a good time to be going into education...
>My condolences
It'll be over soon. I just need to write an essay summing all of those up.
I hope this will be the thing that forcibly yanks him off the hype train, but I know he's probably in too deep.
>at the same time it motivated me to do things that I otherwise would've never tried, either because it's too daunting to do alone or not worth the effort
I guess you need to decide if that's a good trade-off for you. For all the doom and gloom I don't think it's necessarily bad to not develop certain skills, provided that energy gets put somewhere else.
