Oh and I thought of an idea regarding the charts. For the '80s (since that's when the vast majority of trad was released and there's so many godly albums from that decade) why not separate the charts into batches? So like you'd have one for 1980-1981, 1982-1983, 1984-1985, and so on. It makes sense from an evolutionary perspective as well, since 1982-1983 is when pretty much all of the core sub-genres were birthed/being formed and 1980-1981's metal is (for the most part) more rock-y.

Thrash, USPM, and speed are necessities and I believe should come first. Then doom, stoner, and the movements (like the NWOBHM, NWOTHM, etc.)

Hell yeah! When every single one is complete, I think it'd be a cool idea to take the best of the best from each genre and cram them all into one mega list. But we shouldn't have to worry about that for a while. =)
