Its not, the show is very profitable but Sam and Jet are losing interest in it. Sam is the kind of guy that constantly wants to do new shit and hates maintaining existing projects. This is the first season he came in where he wasn't excited at all and the only bits of interest are when he is fucking around with Freddy or when he interviewed Ellie and she caught him off guard with the "i want to be a grifter" and "i'm still in high school"
