If the same journos were around for SH3 than they'd be calling SH3 the ultimate progressive feminist game
Hell I think most of /v/ nowadays wouldn't be able to handle the very female centered horror that SH3 specifically tackles or the not too subtle abortion and killing of "god" (also "god" is a woman.) or the fact Harry dies and is "replaced" by his daughter as the main character (or that note where Harry wrote down how he contemplated killing Heather as a baby)
You could very much make SH3 look ultra woke if you wanted to try to frame it that way in modern standards but that game wasn't really meant to be looked that way or really be seen as controversial.
