I don't care what the FPS is set to as long as it doesn't mess with my monitor's refresh rate.

Oldentale dev here.
Still working on programming. I've finally got a good thing setup with my programmer, and progress should be steady from here on. I got side tracked for a while by some serious JoJo brainrot, which slowed development, but I'm done with that now, so I can dedicate most of my time to the game again. Right now I need to work on some sprites so I can test character animations.
As a side note, I was watching part 5 and something in it was eerily similar to something I have planned for Oldentale. Like its almost the exact same concept. I won't say what it is because I don't want to spoil my game, but I do wonder if other people will think the same thing when my game comes out.

Turns out I just typed in the wrong number when allocating memory for the sprites. I feel stupid. But hey, it works.
Now I just need to set up boundaries, collisions, and a screen change system.
Any advice on how to do that from other dev anons would be greatly appreciated.
