the whole idea is that you eventually separate both teams into their own thing
they don't really complement each other at all, they're just two fragmented teams with small core powerhouses that happen to fit with one another

Andoris is a better Papasha, which was considered a good deal at the time that pic was made. Her turrets trigger more attacks for QJ and are useful for boss mechanics
