This is slightly stock related and I can't ask this on /pol/ because they're r/thedonald schizos:
I used to be fairly religious, but I was working a paramedic job and saw someone burn alive. 
Then later one of my coworkers was like "yeah man I heard she used to be a Christian too but stopped so she's gonna have to burn like that in hell forever."
It was one of the most fucked up things I've ever heard, and when I put it into context I felt like a loving God could never condemn anyone to that kind of fate.
This is stock related because...uh....you know....a good chunk of the current party in power is governed by that kind of thought process, I guess.
