Well-deserved. In Sawyer's own words, "the conditions under which BG3 was made are atypical." It's very unlikely we'll ever get an RPG as good and heartfelt made by a studio with both full creative control and the required funding. The way WotC is handling D&D (poorly) also means BG3 happened at the right time, and future D&D RPGs might not be so lucky. It isn't perfect - no game is - and we can lament the lack of polish in some areas, but it's still the best game to have come out in recent years by a significant margin.
