Yes. Math and programming combined is awesome.
Most people hate math because they can't understand how is applied and thus why is useful, and is easier for clueless teachers to say that you'll use it later or directly imply that you're a retard (that's my experience as a thirdie btw).
Only a very few don't really care about applications or their mind is abstract enough to understand it and feel amazed by it, most of them are in the spectrum.
