I WAS going to say he'd have trouble matching up to a demon that's several thousand years old.... but then I remembered Viv made him like thirty five. So honestly, he probably could get pretty close in a couple decades, maybe lacking a bit in the deeper magics that only a goetic demon would be capable of understanding/using.
