I do care about bananza. That game looks great too. I just can't justify buying a console right now period. It's too expensive to justify it on my current budget. Like, I could. I just shouldn't. I also want to play MP4 in all of its glory, but I'll have to make do with the Switch version, which was the originally intended.

Yeah, sounds about right. I'm a nintenfriend myself, but I think the growing up part consists in understanding that nintendo isn't always going to cater to me personally to me with every single one of their products and decisions. And I can put my attention and money elsewhere in the meantime.
I'd like to buy a switch 2 at some point, but right now it's too expensive for me and there's too few games yet to justify it, but Bananza was a surprise and Air riders too, and both look pretty fun. There will be a Zelda game down the line too and i'm always looking forward to that.
On the other hand I don't give a shit about Fire Emblem, or animal Crossing. But that doesn't turn the product irredeemable when they focus on those.
