Yeah, sounds about right. I'm a nintenfriend myself, but I think the growing up part consists in understanding that nintendo isn't always going to cater to me personally to me with every single one of their products and decisions. And I can put my attention and money elsewhere in the meantime.
I'd like to buy a switch 2 at some point, but right now it's too expensive for me and there's too few games yet to justify it, but Bananza was a surprise and Air riders too, and both look pretty fun. There will be a Zelda game down the line too and i'm always looking forward to that.
On the other hand I don't give a shit about Fire Emblem, or animal Crossing. But that doesn't turn the product irredeemable when they focus on those.
One would think that some guy with a bing bing wahoo profile pic and that invests so much time in following nintendo would get a kick of their stuff. It's not like there's much like them elsewhere.
