>Dorky weebs go to Japan and meet people who like video games and cartoons and feel at home.
>But, we all know, there are many subcultures in Japan. This includes people who behave like degenerates.
Loads of Japanese people don't even like anime or vidya. They just go to work, drink at night and then go back to work again in the morning. That's literally their lives. It's no different from the West desu. Japanese people cringe at weebs, just like Westerners also cringe at them. If you have cringe hobbies like anime when you're 30+, you keep it to yourself. Otherwise, you'll get Japanese people giving you the raised eyebrow when they see you're a walking cliche.
Me? I go to Japan for the food, cheap alcohol and atmosphere. The working public transport is a plus too. Japanese culture is interesting to me.
