I feel that is way too feeble of a term to refer to Kirkman's modern day saga, a breathtaking epic that will be discussed in ages to come among the likes of "The Odyssey" or "The Epic of Gilgamesh". Mr. Kirkman has taken a stale, trite genre and REDEFINED it with his mastery of the written word and eye for spectacle. Mark is the EPITOME of the hero's journey and his trials and tribulations have won the hearts of millions, inspiring a new generation to enjoy the medium. Kirman was TEACHING every other creator just how it's done!
