I was at a service station and I asked the guy behind the counter why he doesn't have a bar stool or something to sit on and he said their boomer manager is like "if you got time to sit down you have time to work".

It's stupid too when you think about it, because as your fatigue builds up all shift you will actually do less to compensate to spare your energy and you'd probably take unnecessary toilet breaks too just to have somewhere to sit down. But American boomers especially are just addicted to this "I suffered why shouldn't they?" attitude, made worse by the fact that in so many ways their generation suffered the least.
