If your answer doesn't include haste, then you're not a real gamer. Everyone who's got even half a brain knows that extra attack speed is the basis of all these kinds of games. Stacking extra effects on top of that is the foundation that all good builds are built upon. In this case, the correct answer is crowd control, so haste + poison (stun lock enemies forever) or DPS, so haste + any damage increaser, my choice would probably either be ethereal or rage/diamond, depending on my build/how damage reduction mechanics like armor work in OP's fictional game.

In my estimation, in 99% of the games, you can't proc effects off the secondary hits on enchantments like ghost, otherwise that would be OP as fuck. That second hit is usually just extra DPS. Otherwise yes, it would be way better than raw attack speed.
