That's what they should have done after Kuro 2. It's too late now. Especially with the cliffhanger they left it on.

Kai isn't terrible but it feels like the most safe "business as usual" Kiseki game ever and after the absolute nothing that was Kuro 2 it needed to be so much more and it just wasn't. 3 setup games in a row is just insulting.

A few months ago before I've played Kai I would agree, now I'm somewhat in the Kuro 2 wasn't so bad camp. Guess the larger pile of shit suddenly makes the smaller one stink less. I'm almost afraid what happens when Kai 2 comes out and it's even worse. Will I be able to say "Kai wasn't so bad"? I find it hard to imagine, yet I thought the same after beating Kuro 2. The big question is: how much worse can Falcom get?

Hopefully after Sky 3rd remake. The main arc needs a long hiatus. Kai just showed their writers don't give a fuck anymore and are overworked. I simply can't take any more slop like Kai.
