It's apparently some licensing nightmare and nobody knows to whom IP actually belongs. Some of the initial stories are public domain everywhere already, other may soon finally enter it. But you have to be wary to not include any stuff from those other nonHoward licensed fanfictions and "remasters" of his stories
And video games in general may only belong to Funcom, regardless of status of stories
I remember some time ago some guy sculpted a Conan figurine which was popular and then get fucked over by some corpo

I still believe Hyborian Age is actually one of those 2 other secret crpgs Owlcat has in production. Sword and Sorcery is criminally underused in vidya in general, let alone crpgs and Owlcat so far specializes in appealing to niche fanbases desperate for vidya adaptations of their favorite franchises.

There's nothing "Bronze age" About conan the barbarian you absolute retard
How is it "themetically similar"? Conan wears medieval armor in the stories and most of the kingdoms in the Hyborian age are medieval inspired.
Howard didn't even particularly like the bronze age, bronze age greece in particular he really didn't care much for

Because 90% of your preconceived ideas of sword and sorcery aren't based on the actual works of howard or even later authors like moorcock and leiber they're based on frazetta paintings and the trash movies that came about in the 80s
Like how every retard in this thread thinks sword and sorcery means going shirtless and loincloths despite the fact that conan wears armor in almost every single one of the stories
