Remember back when the Royal Guard kept talking about the Soul King as if he was alive and we got this image of him in the manga (all of it was cut in the anime btw) before later on he suddenly turns into a corpse? Kubo couldn't even plan a major aspect of TYBW's (and even Bleach's) lore.

And even then, his limbs being sentient and running around is stupid as hell. One just randomly chills in the Rukongai and decided to bind with Ukitake. Another was given by Ichibe to Yhwach in exchange for temporarily sealing the Almighty. And we have no idea where the fuck Gerard came from. Not even getting into Narita's fanfiction with shit like the Fullbringers all having his nails, or how Rangiku randomly had a fragment of the Soul King Aizen extracted. This is not good lore.

Lmao, actual foreshadowing has buildup, not this lame coincidental writing. If Kubo was such a master planner he wouldn't have to retcon crucial shit like the Soul King having limbs in the original chapter where he's introduced.
