Perhaps Megaman peaked too early with the 2nd game out of pure dumb luck on the NES too. It should’ve been a gradual rise and he should’ve made the jump to SNES asap rather than staying on the NES longer than he needed to.

Man this franchise really did struggle to evolve, 9th and 10th entries regressing back to 8-bit was a mistake
