T8 is way overhated. Most if not all characters are tournament viable, sidestep is strong and you usually need to win at least three interactions to win with seven golden letters. Defense is very hard but rewarding. Combos are long but they do the same percent of damage as previous games. All they need to do is to make spammy moves minus on block or track less. Unfortunately, some moves deserve to be removed but they'll never do it. Oh well, still more fair than any other old fightan.

Why are fighting games the only genre where players over 30 can stay competitive?

Watching Tekken EWC right now it's fucking KINO. It's so much better than any sport events I used to watch on TV.
