What caused this shift? Do Zoomers think it's like the equivalent of selecting a show to stream?(In comparison to Millennials who watched Buffy because it was the only decent thing on or whatever weird tape/DVD our bro had kicking around).

This is a huge issue going back to any online game, its just diehard autists who only play on like 2 or 3 of their favourite maps and remove 90% of the game's content from their rotation.
I remember going back with my friends to replay battlefield 4 and blops 1 and out of dozens of hours between those we played on like 10% of their maps.
