It was such a delight to read your response. I'm so glad I could do something meaningful for you and that I opened this thread. It's very touching how you used to have such an innocent and fun friendship in childhood. I remember befriending the ones that got picked on and I got some very good friendships out of it, even though I would drift apart at times from them, resparking was always so meaningful.
All cards aside, you can really only give yourself in a relationship, the more interesting and passionate the more you can give. Can't share your life if you don't have one. I'm sure that at cons, you will find your people. I've also never seen an anime con without trans people. To chase souls is one of the most sincere and pure things.
Just something I'm throwing in the air because I've seen it a lot - but a lot of "chasers" that feel close connection to trans people end up GNC, liminal in gender roles, or trans themselves.

When it comes to the eyes, we don't see extra bones protruding or whatever. Instead we see that the bones around the eyes grow a bit more inwards, making the eyes more deep set. Ever since FFS shaved down my orbitals and browbone my eyes have been left with huge panda eyes, both under and above my eyes. What essentially happened is that my eyes developed like a valley with little mountains on the sides, and FFS shaved those mountains off, but there's still a ridge, a crater. It's very uncanny and weird-looking, but therefore also a bit beautiful.
In females the eyes are very flush with the brow. So even if they develop a bit of a brow, their eyes for some reason just don't retract into their skulls as much.
To this day I can place a fist against my eyes and not really feel it while my ftm friend would compress it by a lot
