how many times do you die in a level before cracking and making a midlevel save

i just looked up a guide and it turns out i'm getting filtered by the fight right before the exit 6 times in a row, so at least i'm almost there T_T

after beating doom 1 on UV and messing around with a few custom wads i decided to play doom 1 again on UV with sv_fastmonsters 1 and sv_instantreaction 1 and i died in e1m4 i feel like a scrub

just got killed in doom
