The entire chapter 4 mansion "date" feels much less shippy after learning the context about Dess and why Noelle acting like a masochist in front of Susie. Even Susie's action don't feel like romantic. She just feel bad for Noelle so she dealt with Berdly and decided to get her onto festival to spite her mother. There isn't much there beyond older sister protecting her vibes.
