There's only two stressful parts. First is inserting the CPU and pressing down the mousetrap. Second is plugging in that USB hub cable to the motherboard, because for whatever reason they gave that cable an obnoxious deathgrip. Maybe if you're extra super frightful, applying paste for the CPU cooler will also be scary. But otherwise that's the worst of it. Just make sure to keep a separate computer around to pre-download your drivers, especially the motherboard drivers and the internet drivers.

People only praise Earthbound because Sakurai shilled it in Smash bros, and want to look cool. In reality it's largely secondaries pretending to play it, like with Touhou or Kojima games. You'll see praise after praise for Mother 3 as well, but again, only because it's in Smash bros. Where's the demand for "For the frog the bells toll" to get an overseas release? Or "Mysterious Murasame castle"? Or "Captain Rainbow"? Or "Doshin the giant"? Or Chibi Robo 2?
