Fainted on the train once while sat down doing nothing. Could feel it happening as well, the clamminess, the vision fading from the corners inwards, but I couldn't do the usual thing to prevent it (bending down and putting your head forward to force blood up there) because it would have placed my head in another passenger's lap.

So I just sat there and let it happen. The train was pulling into the terminal so I thought I could get away with it but then everyone was getting off and I still couldn't see anything at all, zero vision. So I just sat there lolling in and out of consciousness. Then the train pulled out of the station going backwards on its next journey so I must have been sat there, blind, for a good few mins. Only then was I spotted by the ticket lady and I said to her "I don't feel well. I can't see anything" and she flagged the driver / called an ambulance to meet me at the next stop.
