When Halo was at its peak it was even more popular than Mario or Pokemon. The franchise was a global sensation that single handedly carried the Xbox brand on its own and changed game design forever with health regeneration. Online multiplayer, split screen single player, LAN party. This thing was the complete package and at a quality nobody could compete let alone match. It even offered excellent lore and a pretty decent story too. Halo was a 1 of a kind game franchise that nobody could copy even if they wanted and MS drove it into the ground. Their golden gooze.
