For how things have turned out: soldiers are blameless in war, even unjust or ''evil'' invasions that founding fathers warned us against, i.e. don't get involved in foreign entanglements. So really, zogbot should be treated the same as the phrase baby killer or whatever else. War is hell, you are made to kill people and break or take their shit, and hell is supposed to be eternal - we aren't made to come back after eternal damnation right? so when you see a soldier alive in the US after war, you should see it as a miracle and be thankful.
As long as money exists, especially as it is now with uncertainty and the inability of dr jekyllberg to discount theoretically undefaultable inflation hedged grammar into perpetuity; as long as that is the same, there will be war, and you will need military, and keeping the next generation of young men especially, looking to that in a positive way, is a good thing, because some of them will enlist, and some of them will become officers, and they will make the military a place of honor again.
