Can faith in God be proven through reason, evidence, or experience, or is it ultimately a matter of personal belief? Are there good books or philosophical literature that explore this question in depth?

I am legitimately thinking about praying directly to God Himself for the downfall of Israel.

I'm a pretty good Catholic and I think He's pretty pissed at them for their behavior over the last 80 years. I think nobody's just straight-up asked Him in a while "smite the Synagogue of Satan." I think I may do just that. Just pray for the downfall of Israel and the Zionists.
