I'm trying to think of what you could say + a monero address that would be sufficiently urgent that it would force people to: learn how to buy monero then send a small amount to that address all without wondering why they were having to do this.

Drawing a blank though. I think it's just too many steps for a normoid to comprehend. Their limit is buying a Google play card or clicking a singular phishing link.

I'm not saying I do that, merely suggesting it as a solution to his problem.

If you wanted to I suppose that would be alright.

You're responding to a known /britfeel/ spammer. These posts that are ostensibly good-natured beginner technical questions about Linux are actually just him driving engagement in his special interest (linux).

I appreciate that you couldn't have known this if you weren't up to speed on /britfeel/ but I'm letting you know. You will never reach a point where this lad can be left on his own to run his new OS because he's not new to linux, he's playing a character. The goal is to have people talk to him about linux. That's it. To that end there will be an endless well of questions, to be answered by well-meaning but ill-informed posters such as yourselves.

What you do with this information is up to you.
